The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for performing field service activities at customer sites in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. This includes the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems. The technician serves as a front-line representative of the company, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while promoting safety and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct field service activities, including diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems. + Deliver and set up equipment/materials at customer sites as needed. + Proactively identify and resolve safety issues involving company- and customer-owned equipment. + Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, inspections, and customer interactions. + Promote a culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement. + Ensure proper care, handling, and maintenance of company tools and equipment. + Work independently or collaboratively as part of a project team, depending on scope. + Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders. + Participate in planning and safety meetings and adhere to all company policies and procedures. + Travel as needed, including overnight stays, based on business needs. **Qualifications:** **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent required. **Experience:** + 2–5 years of relevant technical or field service experience, preferably in industrial or commercial water systems or similar environments. + Prior experience with diesel engines, mechanical systems, or electrical troubleshooting strongly preferred. + Experience working in field-based roles or remote environments. + Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other customer-specific clearances. + Passport eligibility for cross-border work is a plus. **Licensing:** + **Class A CDL preferred** or **willingness to obtain** **Skills and Competencies:** + Strong technical aptitude in mechanical, electrical, or diesel systems (specific to business unit). + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Excellent customer service and communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and smart devices. + Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting ability. + Strong organizational and documentation skills. + Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and performance excellence. **High-Impact Behaviors:** + **Continuous Learning:** Proactively seek out training and development opportunities. + **Team Collaboration:** Actively contribute to team goals and foster positive, solution-oriented teamwork. + **Results Orientation:** Deliver high-quality work efficiently and effectively with a focus on outcomes. **Travel Requirements:** + Up to 25% travel required, including overnight stays depending on project location.
