Field Services Manager - Renewable O&M

Job Summary:

The Field Service Manager's primary responsibility is to support the O&M activities to maintain the performance of the equipment, track conformance to contractual obligations, provide excellent customer service to our customers, keep high standards of safety & quality, developing and retaining team members, ensure a smooth workflow and optimally performing equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage team of field technicians, repair crews, and/or vendors to complete all system warranty repairs and service requests within service levels and cost. Provide Root Cause reports and solutions. Provide troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues. Teach, develop and train team. Provide leadership and guidance to field crews. Coordinate maintenance requirements to achieve service level targets for system repairs. Physical project completion including pulling necessary permits. Coordinate field activities to service the systems, either by internal resources or partner technicians Process all customer warranty and insurance claims. Providing product and service training to customers and partners. Management of service orders. Communicating opportunities and recommendations for modification or improvements to processes to assure optimum efficiency of the company assets. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience; a High School Diploma (or GED) is a minimum requirement. Must be willing to travel extensively to remote site locations. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work under pressure with strict time deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills. O&M experience strongly preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
