Job Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities

Should be Involved in the initial conceptualization and detailed design of brake systems, considering factors like speed, weight, and track conditionsDevelop integrating brake systems with other train subsystems, such as traction motors and train control systemsProficiency in creating technical specifications, diagrams, and reports for brake systemsIdentify and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing or in-service operationsGood understanding of testing needs for brake systems, both in simulation and on real trains, to ensure they meet safety and performance standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure a cohesive designDeep technical understanding in Air Brakes, Electropneumatic Brakes and Electromagnetic BrakesKnowledge of testing methodologies and proceduresProficient in use of UG NX, Catia and Teamcenter.

Work Experience

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelors /master’s degree in mechanical / production / structural /Automotive Engineering with minimum 5 to 8 years of engineering experience.Deep technical understanding in detailed design of braking systems, considering factors like speed, weight, and track conditionsGood understanding of testing needs for brake systems, both in simulation and on real trains, to ensure they meet safety and performance standardsProficient in use of UG NX, Catia and Teamcenter.Good interpersonal skills, Communication skills, presentation skills and Team player
