Job Overview:
The Field Services Analyst II is responsible for supporting and maintaining RWJBarnabas Health’s users and IT infrastructure. This role manages the coordination and fulfillment of incidents and service requests through established service management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The analyst consistently represents the organization in a professional and enthusiastic manner, delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the company’s mission and vision in every interaction.

Required:
Associate s degree or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related fieldHigh School diploma and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeValid NJ Driver s LicensePreferred:
At least 2-3 years of experience supporting large organizations in a desktop support roleExperience within the healthcare environmentGeneral knowledge of desktop and end-user supportMicrosoft, HDI, ITL certificationsComp TIA A+ CertificationScheduling Requirements:
Full-Time, Day, HourlyVariable working hours to provide sites coverage including after-hours availabilityOn Call Availability 1-2 times per monthEssential Functions:
Assist department manager in on-going assessment and upgrading of PCs; may research and evaluate hardware and softwareMonitor and troubleshoot computer hardware and software, mobile devices, telecom, and networking problems as they occurPrioritize problems by following established priority, ensures all jobs are completed as scheduled or requested within SLA guidelines,Assignments should be completed thoroughly in an accurate, prompt, and neat mannerMust consistently meet key metrics on incidents and requests: tickets per month, tickets resolved within SLA, mean time to resolve, etc,Assists with the day-to-day maintenance of RWJBH PCsPerform advanced hardware and software repair procedures on desktop and laptop computers, performing data backup and recovery as neededAssist employees with technical requests by troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation if requiredProvide guidance to conditions which must be met to fulfill requestsMust follow IMAC process; the proper procedures and protocols on handling hardware and software requests, refresh, and maintaining the asset databaseAvailable for on-call and after-hours support and responding to escalations in a timely mannerCarry company provided mobile phone, and answer your phone, texts in a timely mannerPerform training to staff and customers on various technology topics, including hardware configurations, processes, and applicationsProvide thorough documentation and timely updates within ITSM ticketing systemEvaluate all assets to ensure security compliance including but not limited to antivirus protection, patch management, data encryption, etcAvailable for on-call and after-hours support and responding to escalations in a timely mannerCarry company provided mobile phone, and answer your phone, texts in a timely mannerPerform additional duties and responsibilities as requested by managementInterested in learning more about our IT&S team?
