Job Mission
You will be responsible for efficiently and safely performing repairs, maintenance, and calibration of electronic paper analysis equipment, both in the lab and in the field, serving the Pulp & Paper industries within ABB’s Process Industries division. Your role is to ensure the ideal balance between cost, deadlines, and service quality, promoting equipment reliability and customer satisfaction—always prioritizing safety in all activities—while working with ABB's Lorentzen & Wettre (L&W) portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Perform corrective maintenance, calibration, and configuration of ABB instruments and systems, with approximately 70% of work carried out in the lab (Sorocaba) and 30% in the field, including frequent travel to customer sites and international projects (Autoline).
Manage calibration standards, certificates, hours worked, and expenses, and issue technical and calibration reports for services performed.
Lead internal and external technical meetings, deliver training sessions to customers, and actively participate in the development and continuous improvement of processes and projects.
Configure automated systems, measurement instruments, workstations, and servers for quality labs, particularly for the Pulp & Paper industry.
Carry out commissioning, start-up, and field testing for lab system projects, ensuring correct implementation and proper equipment operation.
Requirements
Proven experience in the maintenance of industrial instruments.
Desirable knowledge of calibration processes and strategies in industrial settings, especially in the Pulp & Paper sector.
Basic knowledge in preparing calibration reports.
Experience with instrument calibration and repairs.
Must reside in Sorocaba or nearby areas, with availability for travel to field assignments.
Desirable knowledge of Autoline instruments and systems for Lorentzen & Wettre (L&W) labs.
Valid and active driver’s license (CNH) is mandatory.
