**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented **Field Service Technician** to join our team specializing in **Services, Maintenance and Diagnostics** for our **Field Service Department** in **Tarkwa, Ghana**

+ Efficient Repairs: By diagnosing and completing less complex engine repairs at the customer's site, you ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.

+ Preventative Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance activities helps prevent major breakdowns and extends the lifespan of engines and related components.
+ Issue Escalation: By escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors, you ensure that complex problems are addressed effectively.
+ Accurate Documentation: Completing required documentation accurately helps maintain service records, supports warranty claims, and ensures compliance with quality standards.
+ Continuous Improvement: Identifying additional service opportunities and completing ongoing training ensures you stay updated with the latest skills and business requirements, contributing to overall service excellence.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Tool and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all tools are in good working condition and report any issues to your manager. Keep service vehicles neat and in good working order.
+ Diagnostic Skills: Translate customer complaints into troubleshooting plans using mechanical and electronic service tools. Validate repairs by duplicating the complaint and document the results for payment and historical tracking.
+ Electronic Service Tools: Identify and use the appropriate hardware and software tools for service events. Interpret the results to determine the next steps for service resolution.
+ System Analysis and Repair: Analyze interactions of electrical and mechanical systems using tools and service publications. Perform repairs and maintenance following guidelines to ensure quality and minimize customer costs.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education/ Experience**
+ Basic level field service work experience
+ Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
+ Customer service experience
+ Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
+ Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
+ Locally valid driving permit
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
