An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Field Service Technician to join the Scylla Maintenance Team, working on the Collins Class Submarines. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Maintenance Managers alongside other technicians to ensure all equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a permanent opportunity based out of Rockingham, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on complex and diverse systems across electrical and IT based disciplinesProve support to the Maritime and Ship Repair Services Domain to provide technical support to a range of weapon systemsManage your time effectively to ensure tasks are completed in line with complex scheduled activitiesWork remotely across a range of locations from shipyards and RAN platforms, outside of Thales’ usual scopeEnsure all compliance is correct in-line with 3rd parties also present at these sitesOccasional interstate and international travel to support the above activitiesYour Skills:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need the below:
Cert 4 in ElectronicsAn electrical trade with relevant experienceAustralian citizenshipNV1 and ITAR clearanceAbility to work within tight, confined spaces within the submarines themselves4 + years’ experience in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of complex equipment and systemsA proven track record in quality assuranceWe Encourage You to Apply:
