Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description

The position is based in Cheyenne, WY, where you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting customer systems that utilize Direct Digital Control Technology. You will serve as the local contact for technical issues, ensuring that systems operate correctly within controls, sensors, and software, and verifying field devices using a laptop.

ResponsibilitiesInstall and troubleshoot customer systems utilizing Direct Digital Control Technology.Serve as the local contact for technical issues.Ensure proper operation of systems within controls, sensors, and software.Verify field devices using a laptop.Travel to client sites as necessary.Work with engineers on the startup and commissioning of customer systems in electronic, electrical, and pneumatic spaces.Follow drawing packages and update them as needed.Set up workstations with all required software.Communicate with the project manager on project updates and timelines.Troubleshoot any issues during startup and maintenance.Essential SkillsMechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.Experience in commissioning and validation of equipment.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical equipment.Minimum of 2 years of experience in data center, installation, field service, or validation.Proficiency with tools such as multimeter and TCP/IP.Preferred experience in building automation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in building automation is preferred.Ability to work with engineers and follow drawing packages.Work Environment

The worksite is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with working hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. The team consists of one project manager and four technicians, with a total team size of 30 people. Once direct, employees will receive a company truck and cellphone.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.00/hr.
