**Position Summary:**
Xylem is seeking a safety-focused and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to perform hands-on service, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at customer sites. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment while ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will travel to various customer locations, deliver exceptional service, and act as a technical resource and brand representative for Xylem. We encourage individuals with experience in HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, diesel, or mechanical systems who are passionate about problem-solving in dynamic field environments to apply.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment and materials.
+ Execute field service activities including equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
+ Proactively identify and resolve equipment safety or performance issues.
+ Ensure both company- and customer-owned equipment are operated safely and effectively.
+ Foster a safe working environment and contribute to a strong safety culture.
+ Communicate effectively with customers, representing Xylem professionally.
+ Maintain and safeguard company tools, vehicles, and assets.
+ Work independently or as part of a team to meet service goals.
**Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 2–5 years of relevant technical experience, including in industrial or commercial process water systems.
+ Clean driving record and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
+ Ability to obtain all required customer site clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
+ Willingness to travel up to 20%.
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Experience with mechanical, electrical, or diesel systems.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
+ Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly.
+ Capable of working without direct supervision in a dynamic environment.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
The estimated salary range for this position is $25 to $32. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills, experience, and work location.
