**Job Summary:**
The **Field Service Technician** is responsible for initiating and performing field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and correcting safety issues on both company- and customer-owned systems. This position involves direct interaction with customers and may require supporting multiple technologies, locations, or clients.

**Education & Experience Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ 2–5 years of relevant technical experience preferred, including work in industrial or commercial process water systems or similar fields
+ Industry-specific licenses or certifications are a plus
+ Ability to meet all customer clearance requirements (e.g., TWIC, DISA)
+ Up to 10% overnight travel
**Technical Skills & Competencies:**
+ Experience working with electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion systems (depending on business unit)
+ Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Technically proficient with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and smart mobile devices
+ Strong customer service and communication skills
+ Able to clearly communicate technical information to customers and team members
+ Able to apply customer feedback and on-site insight to solve problems and improve outcomes
