**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Field Service Mechanic** to join our Power Generation Team in **Laverton** . If you are a **Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician OR a dual trade technician** (Mechanical & electrical) looking to power up your career in heavy industrial equipment, we have the opportunity for you! Working in a dedicated team of multi-disciplined technicians in our power generation team, you will be based out of our Laverton branch servicing our power gen customers. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Be first on the field for customers for breakdowns repairs, new equipment commissioning, scheduled service works on Power Generation products, Rail, Industrial/Automotive applications + Troubleshooting and diagnostics and maintenance of engines up 78 Litre Diesel and Gas engines + Completing all work with a high focus on safety + Participate in an After Hours on call roster **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Relevant trades qualification; Heavy Diesel Mechanic + Previous field service experience + Ability to build rapport quickly with clients + Strong PC skills + Excellent teamwork and customer service skills + A current, valid driver’s license + Previous experience in Power Generation products highly regarded but not essential **QUALIFICATIONS** Power Generation Mechanics experienced in Engines, Complex Fuel transfer systems, Oil Make up system and other balance of plant i.e. remote cooling systems diagnostics and repairs Commissioning of new equipment- Checking generator installation, Fuel System, Exhaust system, Cooling etc. **Job** Service **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Technician **ReqID** 2413287 **Relocation Package** Yes
