**Position Summary:**
Xylem is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Senior Field Service Technician** to safely and efficiently execute field service activities at customer sites. This role includes advanced system troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment, managing parts inventory, and identifying and resolving safety issues on both company- and customer-owned equipment. This position also involves direct customer interaction and may include assignments across multiple systems, locations, and technologies.

Individuals with experience in HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, diesel or mechanical systems, or construction are encouraged to apply. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain and promote a safe working environment and safety-focused culture.
+ Properly care for and maintain company tools, equipment, and property.

+ Perform field work with minimal supervision.
+ Serve as a customer-facing representative, maintaining professionalism and technical expertise.
**Experience and Skill Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Ability to obtain all required customer site clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA).
+ Valid DOT medical card and clean driving record.
+ 2 to 5 years of relevant technical experience, preferably in industrial or commercial process water systems or similar environments.
+ Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, diesel, or fusion systems (varies by business unit).
+ Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
+ Able to work independently with limited supervision.
+ Technically proficient and comfortable with tools, diagnostics, and repair processes.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and mobile smart devices.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
+ Able to synthesize technical information and present it clearly.
+ Uses customer feedback and field insight to drive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
The estimated salary range for this position is $28 to $32. Starting pay depends on multiple factors such as skills, experience, and work location.
