Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Field Service Supervisor to join our Bosch Rexroth team in Brisbane, QLD. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the Field Service team while continuing to deliver expert service and technical support to our valued customers. You will ensure hydraulic systems and equipment operate at peak performance through supervision, troubleshooting, fault-finding, repairs, and commissioning—both on-site and in the workshop.
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to a professional with strong technical ability, a passion for mentoring others, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead by example, work collaboratively within a close-knit team, and represent Bosch Rexroth on customer sites, helping to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead and coordinate all field service activities, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed, incidents are reported, and a strong safety culture is maintained across the team.
Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement, professional communication, and the promotion of service products such as maintenance contracts.
Drive service quality by managing lead times, addressing non-conformances, and overseeing compliance across testing, tagging, and certification.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth job flow, accurate reporting and effective resource planning.
QualificationsPosition Requirements:
Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent)
Proven experience in field service and hydraulic system maintenance, ideally in a supervisory or team-leading capacity
Strong hydraulic systems knowledge with advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills
High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with a hands-on leadership style
Effective verbal and written communication skills
