OUR TEAM
As part of our Avionics group, you will join our high performing Training and Simulation team which delivers both simulation products and training services to Defence and Civil customers in Australia. The Reconfigurable Desktop Trainer (R-DTT) support team conducts all maintenance and repairs to the R-DTT simulators located at various defence establishments in Australia. Each site is manned by a Field Service Representative FSR (who is a Simulation Technician (SIMTECH) / Trainer) with management of the sites being the responsibility of the maintenance manager (MM).
YOUR ROLE:
Come join us as a Field Service Representative where you will be playing a key role in administrative, servicing, maintenance, training and repair activities associated with the ongoing customer support for the R-DTT and ensure it’s carried out in accordance with contracted requirements for the site as detailed in the R-DTT through life support contract.
Working at our Lavarack Barracks, Townsville on Thul Garrie Waja and Gurrumbilbarra Land, your will possess below skills to be successful in the role:
Sound understanding of computer and networking maintenance and servicing principals;
Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities;
Experience in the writing and management of technical publications and submission of detailed monthly reports.
Experience in use of JIRA and MS Office Suite.
Experience in the development and delivery of training;
Experience in parts and issues database management;
Demonstrate ability to utilise a failure, reporting, and corrective action system;
Demonstrate ability to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders in support of a major project;
Desirable Experience:
AFV Commander or gunnery instructor;
Simulator Operational experience
Configuration management experience/exposure
