Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently looking for a Lead Field Service Representative for a long-term Defense assignment at Okinawa, Japan with a U.S. home location of Huntington Beach, California.
The position is a long-term international assignment and requires a wide variety of skills and experiences including software maintenance, Information Assurance, hardware maintenance, SATCOM, networking, component debugging and swap out, interfacing with customer COMSEC staff, operator training, logistics support, system deployment activities as needed by the customer, and on call according to mission needs.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to Okinawa, Japan for two years, renewable. Relocation benefits to the international location will be provided.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads technical field support of Tactical Systems products located on the sitePerform all aspects of system monitoring, maintenance, repair and system administration on Tactical Systems equipmentProvides informal training to system operators on all aspects of the system operations and capabilitiesAssist and advise users and other FSR’s in resolving technical issuesAble to diagnose and repair complex hardware and software problems with little or no assistance from engineeringProvide backup support, on-call support, and training support to Boeing Tactical Systems products deployed at various locations worldwideInterface regularly with the FSR Project Lead at the Huntington Beach Depot and provides reports and status as required by the FSR Project LeadBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires a successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 yearsCurrent Security+ (Sec+) certification or other current DoD 8570/8140 Approved Baseline Certification OR willingness and ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ Pre-Start (i.e., successful completion of a DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification)Willingness and ability to relocate for a Long Term Field Service Assignment to a domestic or international locationDemonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiencyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of experience as a Field Service Representative supporting a Defense SystemRelocation:
Relocation benefits to the international location will be provided. Relocation assistance to the U.S. home location of Huntington Beach, California is not a negotiable benefit. You must live within commuting distance or relocate at your own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for (Level 3) Experience: $86,700.00 - $117,300.00
Summary pay range for (Level 4) Lead: $103,700.00 - $140,300.00
