Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Representative within the Customer Support department. In this role you will be based in Montréal, Québec and report to the PSE, ILS, FAL/FSR & Airworthiness Compliance Manager. This is a key role in supporting the customers (internally and externally), and associated activities to improve the flexibility of landing Systems offerings and time to get solutions to the issues faced by the Airframers/Operators/Airlines.
• Represents the company at customer locations providing a suite of technical support services to assist customers with delivery and operation.
• Perform re-work on the Customer Final Assembly Line (FAL) for reported snags, removal/replacement of components, travelled work, vendor assist and retrofits.
• Document and report details for every intervention performed in a timely manner.
• Be available to work overtime, weekend and holidays to support the customer planning if required.
• 24/7 on-call support for the FAL on a rotational basis.
• Liaise with other SLS department (Engineering, Quality, Production) to resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with SLS Programs for planning of work instructions, spares and tools.
• Provide technical assistance in the field at the Operator/airlines or other FAL locations.
• Possibility to travel on short notice and requiring to be in the field for periods of up to several days.

Skills and Requirements
• Licensed AME, or equivalent, strongly preferred.
• Requires 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance. Ability to read and understand drawings, manuals, and other technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of Mechanical & hydraulics systems (Landing gear experience beneficial).
• Ability to self-inspect work utilizing strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to adapt to continuously changing work conditions while ensuring safe work practices.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English, French language skills are a strong advantage. null
