Field Service Manager
Job Title: Field Service Manager
Job Description

The Field Service Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and scheduling of all field service personnel to ensure safe and quality solutions. This role requires versatility, as it involves working both in office settings and in the field as project demands dictate.

ResponsibilitiesManage and communicate job expectations to field service team members, including Field Supervisors, Field Team Leads, CDL Drivers, Equipment Operators, and Field Technicians.Coordinate with Project Managers, Jobsite Managers, and field staff to efficiently execute workloads using the job pack, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Assist in the preparation of project job packs as needed.Promote ongoing communication between Project Managers and field teams.Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, with familiarity in USDOT regulations.Document and address any performance, attendance, or other issues promptly.Assist Project Managers in identifying scope of work changes.Manage staff levels, hours, and utilization of Field Service Team at the assigned service center.Ensure all Raw Data from previous day such as employee timesheets, receipts, jobsite notes, JHA form and manifests are accurate and meet paperwork requirements.Organize and maintain the scheduling system to support identified projects and training, considering staff availability, skill sets, equipment, and materials.Communicate customer issues with the Office Manager and devise improvements for customer experience.Collaborate with Corporate Field Operations Director and Office Manager to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems.Inform management of risks impacting project profit, costs, schedules, and client relations.Conduct analysis to determine alternative actions or recovery on reworked schedules.Coordinate with the Fleet/Assets Department to ensure equipment readiness and organized returns.Ensure field project execution from start to finish, confirming availability of field assets.Conduct pre and post project evaluation meetings.Ensure daily completion of vehicle inspections via Fleetio and Samsara.Work with Driver Compliance Administrative Assistant to maintain up-to-date DQ files.Manage conflict, employee morale, and performance, involving management as needed.Prepare and deliver employee evaluations with Field Supervisor(s) and Office Manager.Essential SkillsStrong interpersonal skills for negotiation and problem-solving.Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Enthusiastic attitude to motivate and inspire team members.Professional demeanor in stressful situations.Effective communication with clients.Independent and productive work capabilities with minimal supervision.Problem recognition and resolution skills.Team player with a 'can do' attitude in a fast-paced environment.Ability to establish and maintain a professional atmosphere.General knowledge of computer applications.Detail oriented with leadership, people management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or 2-year college degree with 5 years of experience, preferably in the environmental industry.5+ years of experience leading employees in environmental emergency response or similar environments.Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Titusville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.27/hr.
