You will have your place of living in Switzerland, Zürich or North West Switzerland.

What will you do?

Performing field service activities, including on-site installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance and system repairs on our sophisticated Thermo Scientific Transmission Electron MicroscopesSolving a broad range of hardware and/or software topics of varying scope and complexityCoordinating your own work schedule with direct colleagues, service operations and management.Guiding customers in the use of our instruments to ensure safe and effective customer operationsProviding technical telephone and email support, ensuring that our customers are successful in the use of their instrumentationProducing timely and accurate reports of your activities: e.g. service reports and expense reportsAssuring the highest level of Customer Experience to achieve customer happiness and dedicationWork together with Colleagues from 2nd Level Support, Application and SalesProviding feedback to support teams for correcting system documentation and updating procedures.

What will you need?

A master degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or any other equivalent education or experience in a high-tech environment.First professional experience of two years in a relevant field is an advantage.Knowledge of Electron Microscopes is an advantage but not a requirement.Analytical trouble shooting and problem solving abilitiesSkills to carry out precision mechanical workIT skills, including  knowledge about TCP/IP networksDriving license requiredExcellent interpersonal skills in English, verbal and in writing (German is an advantage)A strong team contributor with excellent communication skills, working remotely with the ability to connect with colleagues in the regionCommercial skills and willing to increase business
