Position Mission:

ABB is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join the PAEN (Process Automation Energy Industries) division, with a focus on the Oil & Gas sector. If you have field service experience, strive for excellence in customer service, and want to directly contribute to the efficiency and safety of critical operations, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

Perform field service activities on ABB control systems, especially 800xA, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Diagnose technical failures on-site or remotely, and propose corrective and preventive actions.

Engage with customers to identify operational improvements and new service opportunities.

Prepare technical reports and ensure proper documentation of all activities with customer approval.

Serve as a technical reference, supporting colleagues and delivering training when needed.

Requirements:

Experience in service activities related to controllers and control systems, especially 800xA.

Availability for frequent travel.

Knowledge of industrial communication networks, such as Fieldbus, Modbus, and Profibus.

Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Desirable Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector and experience in offshore environments.

Intermediate English (preferred) for technical reading and communication.
