Location/Division Specific Information:
We are seeking a candidate based remotely in Atlantic Canada, with a preference for Moncton NB, Halifax NS, or Charlottetown PEI. Daily travel within Atlantic Canada is required, with up to 20% out-of-area travel for training or emergency coverage.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of field service support and customer relationship management for our customersProvide complete services on Chromatography and Trace Elemental systems, including installation, repairs, preventative maintenance, and instrument qualificationsAct as an advocate for Thermo Fisher Scientific in customer laboratories and drive growthMaintain positive relationships with customers and ensure excellent customer experienceEfficiently complete trainings and work with a mentor to obtain timely certificationsAddress opportunities and challenges with high energy and passion in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a strong focus on safety and adaptability to customer lab environmentsArrange travel accommodations and submit expenses in a timely mannerJob Requirements:
Minimum education requirement is a certificate, diploma, associate's or bachelor's degree in chemistry, physical science, electronics, or equivalent education2+ years' experience and/or knowledge of Chromatography Instruments (IC and LC) and/or2+ years' experience of Trace Elemental Instruments ICP-OE and ICP-MSBasic bench chemistry experience preferredAbility to work independently diagnosing and solving problems with service manuals and other user documentationStrong customer service skills in a customer-first environmentConfirmed interpersonal/time leadership skills and ability to prioritize multiple priorities and administrative responsibilities independentlyAbility to lift 50 lbs. with assistance and carry 25-30 lbs. continuously throughout the dayValid driver's license and safe driving recordJoin our team today and be part of a world-class organization dedicated to making a positive impact.
