Field Service Engineer - Boeing Customer Support (Hybrid)

This role will support Collins Aerospace Avionics, Sensors and Fire Protection products for Boeing's airline customers. Employee will represent Collins Aerospace and support our customers by providing solutions to technical and operational questions. This position will work closely with Boeing's Factory and Flightline Production Engineering Teams to foster positive customer relations assist with aircraft production/flight test/delivery and provide world class customer support. **_This is a hybrid position supporting multiple Boeing locations in the Seattle Metro area. This role will have daily onsite presence at one or more of the Boeing sites in this area. Position may require atypical hours at times to support customer needs._** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** + Responsible for performing assignment required service and support of our Collins Aerospace avionics, avionics systems, telecommunications and aircraft sensor systems products for Boeing's production of new aircraft for airline customers. + Assist with Production/Flightline/Flight Test installation issues, operation, troubleshooting, repair and system test and training on site as required in accordance with Collins Aerospace and customer requirements. + May be required to act as on-site lead for major field installation or modification programs. Services are performed using Collins Aerospace approved methods and workmanship standards to ensure optimum equipment operation and customer satisfaction. + Supports equipment and systems of high complexity and advanced technology. + Utilize developmental techniques for experimental or prototype equipment and during new product development. + Act as the face of Collins Aerospace and build and maintain relationships with customers. + Develop close working relationships with Collins Aerospace Boeing Program Managers, Product Support Managers (PSM), Customer Support Managers (CSM) and Collins Engineering. + Interface with Boeing's Production Leaders, Engineering, Supplier Management and Quality Assurance teams. + Must be able to Obtain a Boeing Supplier Grey Badge and and have a Valid Drivers License. + May require atypical hours at times to support customer needs. Must have flexibility to support Boeing production on first or second shifts dependent on customer need/aircraft delivery reschedules. + Occasional travel may be required. **QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:** + Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. + Previous customer support experience in an aviation environment is required. + Must have avionics repair and/or avionics installation experience. **QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:** + Aerospace and/or airline experience. + FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P). + FAA FCC License. + Software loading experience. + Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint drives. + Experience conducting presentations. **ROLE TYPE:** *Please ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. **Hybrid:** Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
