We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Queensland/NZ team, based in Brisbane, Queensland.
Reporting to the Field Service Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for servicing all Life Sciences (LSG) and Clinical Diagnostics (CDG) instruments at our Australian customers sites and assisting across the broader Pacific region when required. An important component of this role is to assist in building customers’ confidence and network with Bio-Rad as well as providing front line technical and application support to internal / external stakeholders to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved..

Consistently provide preventive and maintenance services to customersInstall, service and maintain all LSG and CDG instrumentsEnsure all work orders are handled in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customerUse of ServiceMax for work order managementEnsure tools and test equipment are kept in a professional manner.Perform other duties as requiredMeeting territory service goals and objectivesEnsure that the Company achieves its customer satisfaction objective at all timesReport promptly to the Technical Service Manager of any circumstances where this is not occurringMaintain good customer relationshipsEmbrace the Bio-Rad quality philosophy
What You Bring:
Degree / Diploma in Engineering preferred (Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical)Minimum or 3-5 years’ experience in Life Science, Clinical Diagnostics or Biomedical service Industry Excellent spoken and written EnglishExcellent interpersonal communication and proven customer relationship building skillsDemonstrated initiative, good organisation and planning skillsStrong team orientationProblem solving ability and results drivenHigh level of skills in computer literacy and software usage Current drivers licence valid in Australia.If you have experience that aligns with the responsibilities of this role, we encourage you to apply.
