As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department, responsible for the installation and ongoing improvement of intelligent material handling solutions and cutting-edge applications. You will work with e-commerce companies, performing warehouse installations, maintenance, and integration tasks, while ensuring project timelines are met within highly automated warehouse facilities. Leading a team from concept to completion, you will interface comfortably with robotics and travel extensively throughout North America to customer distribution sites. ResponsibilitiesLead and manage installation projects from concept to completion.Conduct maintenance and integration tasks for intelligent material handling solutions.Ensure project timelines are met within highly automated warehouse facilities.Interface with robotics and manage the deployment of robotic systems.Troubleshoot and debug systems on-site.Collaborate with internal teams and manage client relationships.Essential SkillsProficiency in installation and debugging.Project management experience in automated warehouse facilities.Background in construction, warehousing, or equipment.Experience supporting installation of construction materials or hardware.Ability to read CAD drawings.Proficiency in working with hand and power tools.Capability to lead concept-to-completion installation of robotic systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Experience managing relationships within internal teams and client contacts.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.Forklift and Aerial lift certifications are a plus.Work Environment
You will work in warehouses, distribution, and fulfillment centers across North America, traveling nearly 100% of the time. Projects typically last two weeks, with the option to return home every two weeks for the weekend. The role involves interfacing with advanced technologies and requires comfort in a highly automated environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
