**Location:** Columbia, SC general area **Travel:** Up to 50% (including air travel) **On-Call:** Rotating weekend coverage required As a Field Service Engineer at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of life-saving sterilization systems used in healthcare settings. You’ll be the face of ASP for our customers—installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment that directly impacts patient safety and hospital efficiency. **What You'll Do** + Install, maintain, and repair ASP systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities + Partner with sales and clinical education teams to deliver high-value, customer-focused solutions + Troubleshoot technical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime + Schedule and coordinate service activities with customers and internal teams + Maintain accurate service records and complete documentation in the service system + Manage and audit your parts inventory (“trunk stock”) + Provide guidance to hospital biomedical engineers and ASP field technicians + Support beta site installations and provide feedback for product improvements + Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends **What You Bring** **Required Qualifications:** + Associate degree and at least 3 years of relevant technical experience + 2+ years of customer service experience + 3+ years in a field service or hospital biomedical engineering role + Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and service management tools + Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, driving) + Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) and work on-call as needed **Preferred Qualifications:** + 4+ years in the medical device industry + MCP or Microsoft A+ certification (or equivalent) + Experience in a regulated field service environment **What's In It for You** + Be part of a mission-driven company improving patient safety + Work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment + Opportunities for professional growth and technical training + Make a direct impact on healthcare outcomes **Our Commitment to Inclusion** We believe diverse teams drive innovation and better outcomes.
