Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Description

This role involves traveling to client sites, primarily around the Chicago land area, without requiring overnight stays. You will collaborate with engineers to start up and commission customer systems in the electronic, electrical, and pneumatic domains. The position requires following drawing packages, updating them as necessary, setting up workstations with all required software, and communicating project updates and timelines with the project manager. Troubleshooting issues during start-up and maintenance is also a key aspect of this role.

The role involves working onsite at customer locations, data centers, and schools. There is an office in Lisle, but visits are infrequent. You will be provided with a company truck, tools, computer, and phone. While occasionally collaborating with other technicians depending on the project size, much of the work will be performed independently. The position offers exposure to numerous contractors, providing excellent networking opportunities in the industry. Benefits include PTO and Holiday Pay.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $46.00/hr.
