Field Service Engineer
Field Service Engineer Job Description **Location: London** Are you a hands-on Engineer with a passion for solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have solid experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering, and a strong understanding of pump systems? If so, we’d love to hear from you. **What’s the role about?** As a **Field Service Engineer** at Grundfos, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and servicing our industry-leading pump systems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll ensure our customers receive timely, professional support that keeps their systems running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for: + Programing and optimizing our products to the customers’ requirements. + Disassembling, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing pump systems + Advising customers on system improvements and preventative solutions + Handling service and warranty matters, with support from technical teams + Preparing and submitting detailed service reports + Supporting installations and commissioning projects + Executing maintenance services under SLAs + Providing feedback and input for repair quotations + Continuously developing your technical skills and mastering service tools + Promoting safety through hazard awareness and risk assessments **What do you need to apply?** We’re looking for someone with: + Industry experience or a similar technical environment + Strong knowledge of pump technology + Technical education in electrical or mechanical engineering + Experience with diesel engines (desirable) + A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong time management + Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams + A customer-first attitude and a drive for continuous improvement + Digital literacy and familiarity with service tools and systems You’ll act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external customers, helping to deliver outstanding service and support. **Why join Grundfos?** Grundfos is the world’s leading manufacturer of energy-efficient and intelligent water solutions.
