The PositionWe have a new career opportunity available within the Service & Customer Support team of Roche Romania – Diagnostics Division: Field Service Engineer, reporting to the Service Team Leader. The preferred location for the candidates is Bucharest. This is a temporary contract for 2 years with possibility of further prolongation.

In this role, you will be responsible to ensure and maximize customer satisfaction with Roche equipment and related products by performing specific customer support activities, while interacting with other company departments as well as with Roche Customer Support Centre. You will perform periodic maintenance, corrective actions, troubleshooting and installation of Roche equipment.
What else will you be doing?
Provide technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment.Perform on-site service, repair and/or installation of company products - this include any aspect of field support and is not limited to mechanical/system hardware and software, networking/wireless networking.Serve as customer contact on routine technical and service related problems.Monitor customer equipment performance and is able to respond and resolve most routine issues.Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failure.Determine most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.Provide analysis, feedback and recommendations on product failure trends and service ability issues.Your profile

In addition, to be successful in this role, you will have:
University degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Biomedical Technology or equivalent.Relevant experience of 3-4 years.Knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and information technology.Previous experience in customer support roles would be an advantage.Customer oriented person, with strong communication skills.Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs.Able to cope with change and to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely and high-quality accomplishment.Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams, cooperating well with all levels.Effective customer service skills, which includes a positive attitude and ongoing customer relationships.Advanced knowledge of English (both written and spoken) and of MS Office suite.Clean driving license – B category - is a must as well as the availability to travel in the field.What we offer
