Job Description:
Instrumentation and Controls TechnicianTerex Washing Systems is a single source provider of washing equipment for our Materials Processing Segment. TWS is committed to providing outstanding customer and dealer support and expertise in the field to meet customers’ individual needs through our global dealer network as well as our dedicated team of engineers, applications, sales, marketing and aftersales technicians.
Reporting to the TWS North American Service Operations Manager and working with the TWS Sales and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for providing first class plant commissioning and service; focusing on the electrical systems that control machinery and processes. Supporting our dealers and customers in North America including onsite technical assistance, sales, applications, commissioning, and training on our products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working as part of a dedicated team delivering first class service to dealers and customersAssist dealers and customers with installation and commissioning of TWS productsWork closely with on site Electrical contractors to ensure accurate plant connections to utility and component interconnectedness.Provide technical support to the North American TWS Dealer NetworkAssisting the sales team with technical sales including application validation in conjunction with the TWS Applications teamResearching and responding to customer enquiries on parts & warrantyProvide detailed application and technical training to dealers and customersCooperate with product group engineers and quality team to ensure products are manufactured and delivered to the highest quality standardsTo investigate and resolve customer problems in a timely mannerTravelling throughout North America to locations of dealers and customersSkills and Experience
Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software3 years’ experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred)Technical Degree in electrical field3+ years in an electrical tradeDesired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyKnowledge of industrial controls systemsFamiliarity with NEC, NFPA 79 and CE requirementsViewing knowledge of Auto Cad (Auto Cad Electrical preferred)Experience with remote radio controlsSome knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systemsExcellent written and spoken English, other languages are a plusAbility to interact successfully in different culturesStrong collaboration and decision-making skillsMechanical experience and instrumentation skillsLanguage: Excellent written and spoken English
Travel:
