Field Sales Training Specialist

In this role, you will directly contribute to the corporate strategy to increase efficiency and productivity of our sales team in two distinct ways. Facilitate new hire training solutions. Partnering with Sales Leadership Team and other Business Units as required to evolve the effectiveness of the onboarding, development and continuous enablement of our sales and sales support teams.
Our Field Sales Training Specialist will mainly support the east coast, as such the ideal candidate will be located in the east coast with a preference of Florida.
Bachelor's Degree or Adult learning certificate or accreditation preferred 3-5 years' experience in a consultative sales position with proven knowledge of the sales process and sales technique and skills preferred 1-2 years' experience professional facilitation1-2 years' experience in a sales role or organization Professional office work environmentAbility to read learning participants and adapt to meet needsAbility to partner with field leadership when presented with potential performance gaps within programsAbility to recommend development and coaching strategiesExperience with learning related software (screen capture, recording, eLearning authoring tools, etc.) an assetA strong work ethic with the ability to effectively multi-task and meet deadlinesAvailable for domestic or international travel when requiredProfessional office work environmentDeliver New Hire Sales Training ProgramsResponsible for developing & delivering sales training programs and initiatives; assumes full control and accountability for assigned training initiatives; focuses on sales team skills and productivity.Assess participant skill and knowledge levels and provide feedback to leadershipProvide guidance regarding coaching and performance management opportunities (inclusive of probationary period assessment)Deliver Ongoing Training & Development Solutions to Sales OrganizationParticipates in training functions, special events, and corporate conferences in the capacity of planning, coordinating and facilitating.Coaches and trains sales representatives and sales leaders in a one-to-one or group setting on how to evaluate and deal with unique training scenarios or skill development requirements.Works directly with business stakeholders in the development of training solutions to drive sales team skills and productivity.Training Program & Content Evaluation & DevelopmentCollaborate with content development and design team.Design, assess and update training programs.Ensure training programs reflect current business practices and policiesEnhance or create training materials and tools as required.Training & Development Needs AssessmentConsults with stakeholders to understand strategic and tactical business objectives and identifies development needs and priorities.Conducts need analysis and recommend appropriate development solutions with supporting cost benefit analysis.Training Program AdministrationCoordinate with internal partners to ensure training program logistics support the businessMaintains communication links at all levels regarding training endeavors.Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assignedThis role will travel approximately 25-40% of the time.
