Field Sales Specialist - North Asia

We're looking for collaborators who can connect with affluent global shoppers and build the future of luxury spirit experiences at a global scale." **Meaningful Work From Day One** Based in China, this position will work to ensure the development of Brown-Forman brands in travel retail sales channels, in alignment with our brand building philosophy and global brand strategies. Reporting to the Travel Retail Manager North Asia, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of all travel retail activities in the covered territories of North Asia. The role will collaborate with GTR and local management teams to evaluate market conditions, implement sales and promotional plans and recommend changes. **What You Can Expect** + Provide outlet support for Strategic Accounts business in the North Asia region, with particular focus on Greater China (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan) including S. Korea & Japan) + Develop strong working relationships with targeted key account staff to secure optimal retail brand exposure and dominate at the point of purchase + Work directly with key retailer personnel, including retail and store managers, to identify and act upon profitable growth opportunities + Proactively identify and exploit brand building opportunities through permanent merchandising and promotional activities utilizing the 360 process + Collaborate with team to manage on A&P budget, particularly in terms of POS material + Work directly with B-F Customer Service and Supply Chain to effectively manage forecasting and any logistical challenges + Day to day management of B-F Brand Ambassadors across the region + Conduct regular staff trainings in all key locations, focusing not only on B-F dedicated BA’s, but also with key retail personnel + Ensure best in class execution of all promotional activations + A&P budget review and processing of invoices **Key tasks will include:** + Activation / evaluation of each promotion set to a high standard and check in regularly + Optimizing visibility of our brands at the point of sale + Development of B-F business at store level through building effective relationships with store personnel + Identify and exploit incremental brand building opportunities through merchandising and promotional activities at a local level + Line management of Brand Ambassadors across the region + Coordinate pricing and supply chain communications with both internal stakeholders and customers assigned **What You Bring to the Table** + College/University/Bachelor’s degree in sales or marketing, and 1-2 years’ sales experience; or 5+ years of relevant experience + A team player, with ability to work both autonomously and in a matrix organization. + Strong oral and written communicator + Strong and confident presentation and training skills + Strong organizational skills + Fluent spoken and written Chinese (must) and English + Fully literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) & Google Suite + Willing to travel extensively (approximately 40% of time) + Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to succeed in many skill areas including planning, teamwork, customer relationships, training and influencing retail staff, presentations, problem solving & negotiating + Ability to work both individually and as part of a team + Strong cultural awareness to reflect international nature of B-F travel retail business **What Makes You Unique** + Be a Champion of Brown-Forman Brands + Building Productive Relationships & Partnerships + Personal Initiative + Drive for results every day + Spirits industry experience + Global Travel Retail industry experience + Other relevant languages (Korean, Japanese, etc) **Who We Are** We believe great people build great brands.
