We are currently seeking a Swiss Flow Cytometry Product Specialist to complete our sales team.

As a sales team member, you’ll be responsible for convincing customers in your assigned territory to rely on our BEC LS flow solutions, developing them so that they turn into our references and ambassadors.

In this role, you will have responsibilities for:

Developing and expanding the sales for flow cytometry products (hardware, consumables, software) - by performing all sales activities within the assigned geographic territory such as customer site visits, telephone contacts, managing enquiries, setting up and attending product demonstrations and seminars, attending supplier exhibitions/shows etc.Understanding flow cytometry customer needs & requirements in diagnostic as well as in research settings, both public as well as private – Developing customer specific  solutions to respond to these needs in a joint effort together with a team of experts (sales support, application, marketing, service etc.).Defining, implementing and executing a sales strategy and business plan on an account level basis – thereby taking into consideration that most projects include multiple customer stake holders, both in diagnostic as well as research frameworks.Conducting sales negotiations and achieving the budget within the conditions set by management.

The required skill set for the job includes:

A university degree qualification or a Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency in biological/biomedical sciences or equivalentFluency in both German and English, both written and verbalValid Swiss driving licenseIf required, Swiss work permit C or B

It would be a plus if you’d possess previous experience:

in direct sales of complex solutions including capital equipment into the Swiss diagnostic and research space, both public and private.in selling flow cytometry solutions in Switzerland in particular
