**What is the job about?**
The Field Sales Manager will act as a "Warranty Warrior", a proactive, customer-facing champion dedicated to minimizing non-warranty product returns and enhancing warranty processing across partner locations. Serving as a vital link between the company and its distribution partners, this individual will ensure robust training, accurate data management, and the execution of strategic educational initiatives to drive tangible improvements in warranty performance _._ This position reports to the Area Sales Director Water Utility–USA & Canada. This position will have an ongoing interface and interactions with the partners, contractors and other stakeholders. This position is remote, with a strong preference for location in Texas, USA

**Your main responsibilities** :
_Strategic Planning & Partner Engagement:_
+ Identify and prioritize high-volume warranty partner locations for focused engagement.
+ Develop and maintain a regional map of warranty activity to guide planning and resource allocation.
_Warranty Data Management:_
+ Assist partners in uploading and maintaining accurate warranty statistics.
+ Audit warranty data for completeness and accuracy, providing feedback and support as needed.
_Training & Education:_
+ Conduct on-site training sessions at partner locations on proper warranty submission procedures.
+ Assess training needs for high-warranty product lines and develop targeted educational materials to help reduce warranty.
+ Educate partners on the distinction between warranty and non-warranty products to reduce incorrect returns.
_Dealer Performance Improvement:_
+ Identify dealers with high rates of non-warranty returns.
+ Collaborate with partners to implement dealer-specific training plans aimed at reducing non-warranty submissions through proper installation and product selection techniques.
+ Monitor dealer performance post-training and adjust strategies as needed.
+ Grow sales with dealers due to increased product knowledge and strengthening of relationship between Grundfos and those dealers.
_Event Coordination & Continuing Education:_
+ Identify and participate in regional industry events to host continuing education classes.
+ Develop and deliver presentations that reinforce best practices in warranty identification and submission.
**Your background**
We imagine that you have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or other relevant discipline. Will consider 5+ years of Field experience in lieu of a degree; _AND_ a minimum of 5-years with proven successful experience selling, servicing, or installing submersiblepumpsin the fiel **d.**
+ Demonstrable knowledge of the Groundwater market and established experience selling in the market.
+ High level of technical knowledge, specifically around Groundwater Products
+ Knowledgeable and experienced in building Sales channel partnerships.
+ Demonstrable ambition, with a readiness to take on significant responsibilities and drive growth and able to work independently.
+ Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts and essential Groundwater solution values to small and large audiences composed of engineers, operations.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail focused on timely tracking of Opportunities.
+ A willingness to travel up to 50% if necessary. As a result, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
