Position Overview

Are you passionate about workplace safety and ready to make a meaningful impact? As a Field Safety Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening the company’s safety culture by promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will help create a safe and efficient work environment, empowering employees to prioritize safety in every task. This role requires a strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations, as well as general knowledge of environmental and housekeeping best practices. You’ll travel frequently, sometimes for extended periods, to various job sites, providing hands-on support and guidance to teams. If you’re committed to fostering a culture of safety and are willing to work a flexible schedule with overnight stays as needed, this is an excellent opportunity to lead safety initiatives and make a lasting impact in the field.

What You'll Do Ensure and enforce that employees follow company, customer, and regulatory agency safety policies and procedures through regular site visits, communication, education, etc.Identify and correct deficiencies in safety practices on site with all personnelTeach or instruct hands-on safety classes in the shop, field, or classroom as neededEncourage employees to perform work safely by maintaining positive relationshipsInspect job sites to ensure that equipment is set up, utilized, and maintained in a safe and compliant mannerDocument and report company and employee safety practices and deficienciesParticipate in an on-call rotation for the safety & compliance report hotline and respond to calls regarding workplace incidentsCollect data concerning incidents, accidents, near misses, and reasonable suspicion reports and relay findings to management

Sit, talk, hear, read, and write Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and armsMust be able to kneel, stoop, bend, squat, and climb a ladderLift and/or move up to 50 pounds as neededMust be able to work at heightsMust be able to work in confined spacesWorks indoors and outdoors in all types of weather on-site at job sites What You'll Bring 2+ years’ experience with Industrial or Construction safety preferredBachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or Management or equivalent education, training, and/or experience preferredCompletion of or working towards instructor certifications such as OSHA 500, OSHA 510, MSHA Part 48 Trainer Card, etc. preferredValid driver’s license requiredEmbraces Safety as a core value Ability to maintain confidentialityBasic knowledge of DOT, OSHA, MSHA and other safety and compliance regulations How We'll Support You
