Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing electrical projects on Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC and other Federal installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities related to electrical construction.Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.Oversee the installation of electrical systems including wiring, lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security systems, etc.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of daily activities including labor hours worked by crew members.Ensure proper use of materials/tools/equipment while minimizing waste/costs associated with them.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent) and10+ years related work experienceExtensive knowledge about National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes/regulations pertaining specifically towards electricity-related installations/maintenance procedures/practices followed across different regions/states/countries globally if applicable depending upon job locationCandidate should also be familiar with electrical systems, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.A strong background in managing electrical projects on Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC and other Federal installations.Security Clearance Requirement:
