Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Field Project Manager, Airport Asset Management to join our team! In this role you will get to work on major airports in Houston, TX.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide direct support under the Houston Airport System’s (HAS) Asset Management Division, ensuring that contractor deliverables, assessments, and proposals are completed on time, fully documented, and entered into the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and to manage the Life Cycle of Assets and Systems through effective policies, standards and procedures.

The role requires strong construction knowledge, field oversight skills, and the ability to act as a problem-solver for stakeholders to prevent delays and bottlenecks.

Field & Escort Support - Will require field workEscort contractors within secured airport areas, ensuring compliance with HAS safety and access protocols. Provide field orientation to contractors, guiding them through assets, systems, and project locations.Observe and verify that field activities align with contract scope.Deliverable Verification & EAMS EntryEnsure all contractor deliverables are complete, correct, and submitted on schedule. Enter deliverables into EAMS, confirming data accuracy and completeness. Track deficiencies, missing items, or late submissions and coordinate resolution.Contractor Oversight & Timely DeliveryClosely monitor assigned contractors to prevent delays in assessments and proposal submissions. Hold weekly meetings with contractors to review progress, risks, and next steps. Report updates to HAS leadership with documented follow-up actions.Assessment Tracking & Support - Prepares and reviews various reports and records.Oversee routine assessment schedules and ensure timely execution. Prepare for and coordinate ad hoc assessments as directed by HAS. Manage emergency assessments, including logistics, stakeholder coordination, and immediate response. Eliminate bottlenecks by proactively addressing issues before they impact assessment schedules.Stakeholder Engagement & Problem SolvingServe as the problem-solving liaison between contractors, HAS departments, and external stakeholders. Identify and resolve conflicts or delays affecting assessment progress. Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure action items are completed. Maintain transparent communication across all parties to keep workflow on track.Support capital project planning by aligning assessment data with CIP and O&M needs. Assist in risk evaluation and condition-based prioritization of projects. Take on additional assignments from HAS Asset Management management as needed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Strong construction and infrastructure knowledge (mandatory).Experience in contract oversight, field verification, and deliverable management.Problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving stakeholder and contractor issues.Familiarity with EAMS or other asset management systems (training may be provided).Ability to manage multiple contracts and timelines without delays.Excellent communication and reporting skills.All routine, ad hoc, and emergency assessments tracked and executed without bottlenecks.Stakeholder satisfaction with conflict resolution and problem-solving.Timely and accurate weekly reporting to HAS leadership.Reviews, approves, and tracks consultant or testing laboratory reports.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Background in construction or facility maintenance.Proficient with Procore or similar project management software.Proficient with an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or similar system.

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
