**We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical skills who enjoys hands-on work and frequent travel.**
**What You’ll Do**
**Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and equipment issues.**
**Conduct site surveys and support installation planning.**
**Lead maintenance and calibration of tools and test equipment.**
**Train customers and junior technicians on system operations.**
**Document site activities and system performance.**
**Travel to domestic and international project sites (up to 85%).**
**What We’re Looking For**
**Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.**
**5+ years of experience in water treatment or a related field.**
**Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, process piping, and electrical systems.**
**PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens).**
**Project leadership or management experience.**
**Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.**
**Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.**
**Preferred Qualifications**
**Bilingual (Spanish or other languages).**
**Familiarity with hazardous materials and safety protocols.**
**Experience reading schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.**
**Understanding of process chemistry and analytical instrumentation.**
**Comfortable working with low-voltage systems (24VDC to 480VAC).**

**The estimated salary range for this position is $72,300.00** **to $130,100.00** **plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.**
