Job Overview
Weatherford is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Artificial Lift Field Operator to join our team in Redcliff, AB, Canada. In this hands-on role, you will utilize Weatherford's cutting-edge equipment, machinery, and systems to undertake critical tasks and assignments. You will apply industry-leading techniques and practices, following technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions to ensure exceptional quality and efficiency. This position offers opportunities for growth and leadership, with more senior roles involving the supervision and mentorship of other Field Operators.
Responsibilities

+ Perform duties according to documented policies, procedures, and work instructions, participating in daily operations, safety meetings, and job hazard analyses.
+ Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe condition, adhering to specific work instructions based on your level of training and competence.
+ Conduct functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of equipment, following strict adherence to work instructions.
+ Undertake maintenance processes and procedures, including unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing all necessary documentation.
+ Rig up and down equipment, clean, lubricate, repair, and operate equipment as per work instructions and your level of training and competence.
+ Drive vehicles such as pickups, trucks, and truck-mounted units to well sites, maintaining a satisfactory driving record.
Education
+ Required: High School Diploma
+ Preferred: Basic Computer Skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Basic mathematics
+ Ability to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment
+ Critical thinking, active learning, listening, and complex problem-solving skills
+ Strong reading, writing, judgment, and decision-making abilities to align with policies and procedures
+ Time management and quality control analysis to ensure products meet required standards
+ Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
+ Information and task ordering, identifying potential problems, and understanding solutions
+ Ability to react effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery
+ Ability to visualize how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications
Travel Requirement
This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 50-75%.
