This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date._ **Role Description** GFiber's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Engineering Lead Program Manager, you'll drive complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. **In this role, you'll:** + Lead the team responsible for and oversee the process of design and engineering of the Fiber Network from preliminary design to construction. + Manage the production of efficient designs for new development, network relocations and network upgrades. + Establish relationships with local third-parties and ensure efficient processes are in place, while providing engineering vendor selection, engagement and management to deliver within schedule, budget and scope. + Support finance metric development, reporting and dashboard reporting. + Manage production with various vendors to ensure they are following proper guidelines and standards. **At a minimum we'd like you to have:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 8 years of Program Management experience in the Telecommunications Industry + 8 years of people and vendor management experience. + Experience with FTTH network design, engineering principles, and construction processes. **It's preferred if you have:** + MBA or a graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field. + Demonstrated ability to employ good troubleshooting skills and creative problem solving abilities under pressure + Ability to develop the process flow to accelerate Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) design with incredible value. + Ability to work cross-functionally to obtain and use key data, and coordinate with the team to track as-built documentation. + Experience with network drawings (GIS), interpreting fiber test results, installing and basic configuration of enterprise or carrier grade networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, encoders, optics and DWDM). The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000 - $150,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
