Field Engineer

Over de functie 

Als Field Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het testen, demonstreren en optimaliseren van PPG-producten en applicatietechnieken. Je werkt nauw samen met interne teams zoals R&D en Sales, maar ook met externe klanten. Je draagt bij aan productontwikkeling, kwaliteitsborging en klanttevredenheid – zowel in het Applicatiecentrum in Amsterdam als op locatie bij klanten. Je verdeelt je tijd ongeveer 50/50: 

50% op locatie bij klanten, waar je demonstraties geeft, advies uitbrengt en ondersteuning biedt bij applicaties. 

50% in het Applicatiecentrum in Amsterdam, waar je samenwerkt met R&D aan het testen en verbeteren van nieuwe producten en technieken. 

Wat ga je doen? 

Testen van nieuwe producten en applicatiemethoden op diverse ondergronden. 

Uitvoeren van verfapplicaties volgens professionele standaarden. 

Adviseren van klanten en collega’s over verfgebruik en applicatietechnieken. 

Oplossen van technische problemen bij applicaties. 

Verzorgen van demonstraties en trainingen voor interne en externe stakeholders. 

Bewaken van de voortgang en kwaliteit van applicatieprojecten. 

Werken volgens de geldende veiligheids- en milieuregels.

Wat breng je mee? 

MBO+/HBO werk- en denkniveau. 

Aantoonbare ervaring met het professioneel aanbrengen van verf en/of technisch advies. 

Grondige kennis van verfsoorten, applicatietechnieken en materialen. 

Technisch inzicht en ervaring met testapplicaties en kwaliteitscontrole. 

Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels. 

Zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en resultaatgericht. 

Analytisch vermogen en probleemoplossend ingesteld.
