Ready to leave your mark on one of New York’s major infrastructure projects? We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Field Engineer to ensure that construction runs like clockwork—from inspection to contractor coordination and everything in between. You’ll be the eyes and ears on-site, translating plans into progress and keeping every moving piece aligned with quality, safety, and project goals.
🔍 What You’ll DoOversee inspection and construction operations with precision and professionalism.Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with quality assurance and safety plans, codes, and standards.Upload daily progress reports using Primavera Contract Management (PCM).Coordinate, schedule, and witness inspections—including those required by the NYC Department of Buildings.Review shop drawings and flag any concerns before they become issues.Alert the Project Manager to any roadblocks and recommend smart, effective solutions.Keep the contractor’s work tightly integrated with plant operations, avoiding disruptions.Assist in reviewing payment requisitions and validating work completed.Monitor construction schedules for adherence and efficiency.👷‍♂️ What You Bring5+ years of experience in inspection and document control across engineering and construction industries.Track record in managing large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects—especially in wastewater, HVAC, and electrical.Strong understanding of construction management, site development, and wastewater systems.Familiarity with Primavera software and technical drawing review.OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.Bonus points for experience in wastewater treatment facility design and MEP systems.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr.
