Field Engagement Associate

The Opportunity

As a Field Engagement Associate, you will be the driving force behind our lending and cash management adoption strategy. You’ll partner directly with top-performing advisors, General Agents, and firm leaders to embed lending solutions into their practice by delivering impactful training, and equipping the field with tools that enhance holistic financial planning to deepen client relationships. Your mission: fuel advisor success, unlock client value, and accelerate firm growth. You lead from the front—with bold execution, expert guidance, and relentless focus on outcomes.

The Team

The Lending and Banking Services team is focused on providing proactive advice and planning to help meet client needs by delivering strategic borrowing solutions allowing advisors to strengthen their client's overall wealth management strategy. As a member of the Wealth Management organization, you will join a team of passionate experts across multiple disciplines including Product, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Lending & Banking, Trust, Investments and Operations. Whether it’s advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, lending and banking, or trust services, our goal is to provide innovative and effective solutions that positively impact advisors and clients. We are committed to transforming the way our clients manage their wealth and plan for the future.

You will report to the Head of Lending and Banking Services and work with other product teams in the Wealth Management division in addition to partnering with vendors, banks, and enterprise partners supporting business owner products. The collaborative and dynamic team environment includes members with extensive background and experience in financial products and asset management.

The Impact

You will drive business growth, develop expertise and lead initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve results and contribute to the organization’s success.  In your position, you will help enhance MassMutual Wealth Management Lending offerings and play an integral role on teams driving high-impact initiatives with a high degree of visibility.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Advisor Engagement & Adoption

Build high-trust partnerships with Financial Advisors, Sales Managers, and General Agents to position our full suite of lending and deposits solutions business lending, securities-backed lending, student lending, and beyond as essential components of wealth management.

Lead strategic consultations that surface client needs and match them with lending strategies that drive better outcomes that are immediately actionable and deeply valuable.

Own the narrative around lending as a core planning tool. Show advisors how to deliver “found money” strategies that deepen client relationships and boost their book of business.

Training, Enablement & Tools

Design and deliver dynamic training including virtual, in-office, and on stage, that drives real adoption. You don’t just inform, you transform how advisors think and operate.

Create field-ready tools: job aids, playbooks, pitch decks, and step-by-step guides that facilitate lending conversations and make execution seamless.

Power the launch of new lending programs by giving every advisor the confidence, clarity, and tools to succeed from day one.

Program Execution & Field Support

Orchestrate cross-functional execution: You connect the dots between Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations making sure every initiative lands flawlessly.

Monitor advisor adoption and client engagement: Identify trends, measure impact, and turn insights into actions that accelerate growth.

Own pipeline visibility: Lead proactive pipeline calls with lender partners, track deal volume, remove bottlenecks, and keep momentum high.

Field Insights & Continuous Improvement

Stay on the pulse of the field: Gather real-time feedback through office visits, events, surveys, and direct conversations.

Turn wins into playbooks: Capture success stories, share data-backed insights, and fuel peer-to-peer learning that multiplies results across the network.

Be the field’s voice: Escalate roadblocks, advocate for process improvements, and influence product development to simplify the advisor and client experience.

The Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

4+ years' experience in financial services.

2+ years' experience in a field facing role working closely with advisors or field leadership.

1+ years' experience influencing, consulting, and driving adoption among internal or external stakeholders.

1+ years' experience with Excel, PowerPoint or other project management tools.

Occasional travel as needed.

Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.

The Ideal Qualifications

Experience inlending, deposits, wealth management, or advisory distribution.

Experience delivering high-stakes presentations, facilitating workshops, and distilling complex concepts into simple, actionable advice.

Collaborate with stakeholders and execute projects with precision.

Action oriented with strategic mindset able to bring together both the big picture and the tactical steps to get there.

FINRA Series 6 & 26, 7 & 24, or lending certifications.

Salary Range: $107,700.00-$141,300.00
