Job Description:

Summary:

The individual will be working at various asphalt plants and terminals in the Northeast Ohio region (Cuyahoga County, Lake County, Portage County, Geauga County) supporting production of hot-mix asphalt through plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs. Working environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Must have knowledge of Asphalt Plant OperationsAbility to work nights and weekends (on-call)Must have cutting and welding experience and be able to pass certificationMust have mechanical knowledgeCrane rigging and signaling experience (certification is a very strong plus)Able to work in confined spaces.Lockout tagout experience and/or certificationPossesses a class B CDLAble to operate manlifts and work in elevated areasPossess a clean driving recordMust be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demandMust be able to work alone or with large groups of team membersAble to work in all environments. Wind, rain, snow, heat, cold, loud areas, etc.Able to lift 75 lbsAble to climb ladders and work at various heights up to 125’Able to solve problems
