Field Applications Specialist – CT Focus

Work Type: Remote

The Target Pay Range for this position is $57,400 - $71,700 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Job Purpose/Overview

The Field Applications Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing the installation process and training for Emerging Technologies products, such as CT, C-Arm, etc  . Their primary responsibilities involve identifying training needs, creating and maintaining educational information, and ensuring on-time installations and trainings. This includes coordinating various training initiatives through installations both internally and utilizing vendor-provided trainings, and providing sales support at trade shows, wetlabs, and customer education events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Schedule onsite and remote product training with customer upon the completion of sale for CT and CT related productsProvides onsite and remote training for mobile CT and OEC productsConnect equipment to customers PACS, HIS/MWL and Telemedicine services as appropriateSchedule follow up/supplemental product training with customer post install as neededInstruct on basic system functionality and installation procedures at training eventsMonitor installation completion through communication with installers and management of completion documentation.Handle escalations that arise due to issues during installation.Through post installation follow up, identify gaps and roadblocks that occurred during the installation and facilitate a solution (may involve other departments)Troubleshoot problems as needed to support installation team and customer issues if need arises.Contribute to Knowledge Base articles regarding installation training, process, procedure, responsibilities, etc.Perform other assignments as directed by manager in support of the operation.Manages communication and oversight of outside consultants working directly with assigned team.Identifies trends and process improvement opportunities for the team and makes suggestions to improve protocols and procedures to enhance external and internal customer service and satisfaction.Contributes to thorough documentation within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.


Education and Experience

5+ years of veterinary technician experience1+ years Veterinary radiology experiencePrevious CT experience preferredVeterinary Technology Certification strongly preferred but will consider equivalent related experience such as Associates degree in Veterinary Technology or related field, or equivalent related experience (e.g. years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of veterinary anatomy requiredKnowledge of exotic species preferredAbility to handle many tasks at once including heavy phone and email volumeAbility to provide clear instructions in an educational format; written and didactic.Must possess good interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitudeIntermediate computer skills required, including but not limited to:Knowledge of basic computer networks and components requiredKnowledge of all Microsoft office applications requiredKnowledge of Medical image/video formats and storage methodsSales Force or other CRM experience preferredMust have strong planning & organizational skills with good attention to detailAbility to follow through and resolve issuesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to effectively shift attention between various tasks, team needs, and business demands. 

Travel

Heavy travel up to 75% of the time with peaks and valleys through the year.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.  The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment.  The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet.  The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.  The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.   Environment where pets are present.
