The Field Applications Rep gathers customer requirements for new business opportunities, translating them to a product proposition, liaise with R&D in case special development is needed and manage the execution of new business projects with colleagues from other department and our factories in other locations. Key for the team are understanding customer applications, initiating and maintaining engineering relationships with these customers, connecting with the marketing & sales team as well as operations to fulfill our clients (technical) needs.

General Responsibilities
• Handles our business processes to enhance winning new business opportunities by ensuring optimum technical support towards our customers and flawless execution of our new business opportunity project
• Build and maintain high level engineering relations at (key) customers
• Handles the gathering of information and building knowledge of applications and translate this in innovative product solutions
• Understand technical and legislative discontinuities in the market
• Maintain and build relations and structures with other departments in the company in which the team can excel

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
