As the Field Applications Engineer- Cybersecurity, Wireless & Connectivity for Arrow Electronics, you will help guide innovation forward with your team, customers, and suppliers enabling them to create, make and manage their technology.
What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?
Creating design wins at Arrow’s customers, in line with EMEA supplier & technology strategy, to maximize the generation of profitable, protected business.
Working with Engineering Manager and Territory Managers to define core customers.
Building up and maintaining relationships with key customers, suppliers, sales, and marketing.
Guiding creative inventors to our customers on how to realize their ideas and products.
Helping development engineers selecting leading-edge electronic components, technologies, and solutions for their next design.
Participating in relevant supplier training.
Elaborating of optimal technical system solutions down to the component level.
Technical advice and supporting our customers on site.
Utilizing an advanced understanding of the customer’s needs and technical leadership expertise to champion return on engineering investment.
Driving demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
Partnering with the sales team across pre- and post-sales activities.
Providing more advanced technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
Who are we looking for?
Action oriented, problem solving, customer focused, and results driven.
Passionate about electronics, Cybersecurity, connectivity,
4+ years of experience in technical roles.
Strong experience in Cybersecurity (CRA, Red …) wireless & connectivity products and services.
Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures in line with standards.
Conduct/advice Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) to identify potential cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system architecture.
Plan and execute cybersecurity validation and testing activities to ensure compliance with standards.
Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for cybersecurity events.
Monitor and evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats and update security measures accordingly.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cybersecurity activities and compliance efforts.
Experience and understanding of the country’s electronics markets.
Good communication skills.
Business fluency in French and English languages
Preferred Experience:
Provide technical support for Wireless entire product line, including BLE, WIFI, Matter, 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS, GNSS wireless technologies.
Good knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE/TCP/IP/GPS specification/standards
Good knowledge of C/C++, Linux, android specification/standards is a plus.
Experience in development of peripheral driver and debug troubleshooting (USB, UART, I2C, I2S, SPI, SDIO, EMMC, PWM, Camera, LCD) is a plus.
Knowledge of Wireless Network, mobile phone or wireless modem technologies including Bluetooth, WIFI, Zigbee, etc. 8. Familiar with ARM microcontrollers architecture.
