Field Applications Engineer – FIB-SEM (Fixed-Term, 15 Months)
You will be responsible for providing scientific expertise, applications support, demonstration and training to customers on Small Dual Beam of Thermo Fisher Scientific's products. You will collaborate with sales representatives to deliver pre and post-sales customer support, ensuring optimal solutions to customer concerns. In this role, you will act as a trusted guide, fostering customer happiness and dedication, while supplying to the overall success of the business.

Client/Industry coverage: Materials science clients and universities, research institutes, and corporate R&D centersLocation: Field (75% or above level of field visit) (main office is in Yongin Giheung)Portfolio: FIB-SEMMain responsibilities: Train and support customers including on-site trainingResponsibilities:
Support multiple research sales representatives by providing technical information and product recommendations for customer applications.Deliver on-site application support and training to customers on our leading SDB productsPerform demonstrations at customer or NanoPort sites.Provide technical product expertise assistance during all phases of the sales cycle.Encouraging positive customer relationships, giving in depth technical presentations, and assisting in applications development. Develop positive customer relationships, deliver technical presentations, and assist in applications development.Continuously provide feedback to the product groups on system performance and collaborate with marketing/development groups on future product developments.Recommend and advise on potential applications consistent with customer requirements and technical feasibility.Requirements:
This is a strategic interim role where junior-level candidates or those with internship experience may also be considered, depending on their learning agility and presentation ability.Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area for the supported instrumentation and application.Firsthand or extended experience with the relevant instrumentation and applications in academia or industry.Effective communication skills and proficiency in English.Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.What makes this opportunity unique:
