The Field Application Specialist Mexico is responsible for working on site with customers, developing new methods, deploying high level seminars, and providing technical expertise while effectively positioning Phenomenex’s products, increasing sales and profit. Working in conjunction with the inside/outside Account Managers to coordinate objectives, develop strategies, and execute action plans efficiently.
This position reports to the Country Sales Manager and is part of the North America Sales Organization, working remotely to cover all Mexico.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with and support commercial team to achieve sales targets through key account growth.Coordinate customer visits to initiate application support, method development, product demonstration and/or technical seminar. Deploy seminars for training customers on relevant techniques/products for the company.Build account relationships beyond the buying level to ensure involvement of key decision makers.Implement account action plans, review performance and improve current account sales & support programs of the territory.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or other related Science requiredAdvanced knowledge of Chromatography (minimum 5 years laboratory experience)HPLC/GC/SPE Method development experienceTroubleshooting chromatography methods experienceFluent in English and SpanishTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel nationally and internationally (USA and others) based on the needs of the business (60%)Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
