Teradyne Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions. This is a regular full-time position and will be based in Teradyne.

 

Opportunity Overview

Develops HW verification processes to handle NFF/Repair effectively Handle customer HW failure issues and provide root cause analysis and solution Develops basic SW application for data collecting/ analysis and report Develops or modifies the test software for hardware verification process Create hypothesis and DOE to narrow down root cause with suspect HW component HW debugging to find out root cause with excellent performance. Develops HW tools for verification software such as Loopback circuit, Dummy load, V/I measurement etc. Develops and maintains a high degree of customer satisfaction based on Yield/Uptime Provide analysis reports to the team with recommendations. Moderate travel required, both within Asia and the US, to work with the larger engineering team and other customer service teams.

Bachelor/master’s in Semiconductor or Electronics engineering or related. Experienced field application engineers in the semiconductor industry is an advantage. Familiar with semiconductor automation test process (ATE, SLT). Good skills in statistical software tools such as Excel VBA and Power BI for complex data analysis and reports. Knowledge of .NET framework, C#, Python script with low level (bit, byte manipulation) Familiar with FPGA, ARM microcontroller and peripherals interface SPI, I2C, UART etc. Experienced with analog high-speed signal would be advantage USB, PCIe etc. Familiar with client-server services knowledge such as DHCP, TFTP, SMTP, SMNP Familiar with Linux OS command and shell script for embedded Problem solving skills and logical thinking skill are required Fluency in English is required. Good attitude and Enthusiastic to work. Minimum 3-5 years working experience.
