Position Overview
As the Field Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization by leading a team responsible for field reporting, performance dashboards, and actionable analytics. You will partner closely with commercial, sales operations, finance, and analytics teams to deliver timely and meaningful insights that improve field execution and support strategic goals. Your leadership will enhance the organization’s ability to make informed decisions, improve sales effectiveness, and align operational execution with business objectives.

Responsibilities
Design and Oversee Field Reporting
Define and evolve the vision for field analytics to align with commercial strategy and business growth objectives
Architect and oversee enterprise-grade reporting systems that deliver actionable insights to field and sales leadership
Lead the creation of commercial storytelling frameworks that translate complex data into compelling, decision-driving narratives
Ensure reporting evolves in response to business shifts, customer dynamics, and market conditions
Drive Data Governance and Operational Excellence
Define and enforce consistent data standards, definitions, and reporting practices in collaboration with global teams
Oversee processes for data validation, quality assurance, and audit readiness for field-facing analytics
Collaborate Cross-Functionally & Share Best Practices
Serve as the strategic interface between field analytics and sales, finance, operations, and IT to ensure alignment, integration, and solution adoption
Build and facilitate communities of practice to share insights, standardize tools, and elevate the analytics acumen of the commercial function
Represent field analytics in leadership forums, driving influence through insights and shared business ownership
Lead and Develop the Field Analytics Team
Set clear priorities and direction for the field analytics team, ensuring alignment with business and functional goals
Mentor and develop analysts to grow both technical expertise and strategic influence
Build a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability within the analytics function
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, data science, economics, engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
Demonstrated experience in sales operations, managing analytics or similar
Experience leading small to mid-sized teams and cross-functional projects
Experience working with commercial data systems, sales metrics, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
Skills and Competencies
Proven ability to design and optimize data-driven sales force strategies—including role structures, resourcing, and territory alignment to accelerate market penetration, enhance field effectiveness, and support long-term commercial objectives
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex sales data and generate insights that inform compensation and deployment decisions
Proven ability to ensure compliance through the development of robust processes, governance, and controls for accurate IC calculations and audits
Ability to think strategically to align initiatives with evolving business objectives and diverse go-to-market models
Proven leadership ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic, data-driven environment
Exceptional communication skills to clearly and confidently convey technical plans and deployment strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to collaborate effectively across commercial, finance, HR, and analytics teams to ensure sales operations strategies are integrated and impactful
Physical Requirements
Location: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from Insulet's London office at least three (3) days per week.
Travel requirements: 25% business travel as needed
