Field Ambassador
As a Field Ambassador based out of our Toronto office, you’ll play a vital on-the-ground role, supporting project delivery teams and helping ensure open, effective communication between Jacobs, contractors, and community stakeholders. You’ll be the face of the project in the field—helping ensure goals are achieved responsibly, respectfully, and efficiently. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing: * Serve as an on-site liaison, facilitating communication and coordination between project teams and contractors. * The primary objective is to address concerns from residents and respond to general inquiries in a timely manner. * Assist in developing public notices, reports, and progress updates. * Collaborate with the client, stakeholders, and contractors to clarify, resolve, or escalate resident concerns. * Actively engage in meetings and conduct communication workshops for on-site staff. * Ensure that public interactions are properly documented and inquiries are tracked until resolved. * Uphold Jacobs’ quality and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards by observing and recording on-site practices. * Participate in stakeholder engagement activities, including liaising with municipalities, landowners, and other key partners. * Collaborate with senior team members to monitor project milestones. * Assist in the post-construction process, including documentation and close-out activities. * 2+ years of work or volunteer experience. * Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and reporting skills. * Self-starter capable of working independently. * Post Secondary Education, a diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred. * Proficient in verbal and written communication. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Ontario. * Commitment to workplace safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.
